Knowing that a split second of time I capture with my camera can turn into an image cherished by generations; this is what excites me about being a wedding photographer and motivates me to continuously hone my skills and my vision. I love stunning natural light and pure, raw emotion. I love simple, clean compositions and bright, intense colors. I love shooting the big moments of the wedding day and the seemingly quieter ones – to me they are equally important and it is often when I look beyond the obvious that I am able to create the best pictures. I take an unobtrusive approach to my photography, allowing everything in front of my lens to happen naturally and my goal is to create images that tell the beautiful and unique story of your special event.
I live in Somerville, Massachusetts with my wife, dog, and 2 kids, am an award-winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), and have had my work featured in The Knot Boston and Gala Weddings.
