Although I had not had the opportunity to meet Lindsay and Joe ahead of their big day, I quickly found out they were super nice, genuine, and caring folks and I truly had a great time being a part of their wedding celebration. They had a bunch of unique (and fun to photograph) touches to their day including some awesome oversized balloons, lots of games for the guests to partake in, and a delicious candy bar to top off the night. And, despite a spot storm moving through during the ceremony, we were luckily able to get out and take advantage of the beautiful beach at White Cliffs for some nice portraits. Great way to wrap up the first month of wedding season. Enjoy.

Every now and then I am privileged to cover a super intimate wedding celebration surrounded only by the bride and groom’s closest family and friends. These events always hold a special place in my memory and Courtney and Christian’s certainly will as well. Although the weather was grey and cold, there was just no wiping the huge smiles off of their faces all day. And there was just such an amazing feeling of love present throughout – really a beautiful thing. Plus they had so many awesome little details, most related to their tennis-playing backgrounds – so fun to shoot that along with (a delicious) dinner in a beautiful setting to cap of the night. Oh, and by the way this was my first ever Tuesday wedding! It’s been a great start to the season so far. Enjoy.

I was really hoping for a beautiful, warm spring day to kick off the 2017 wedding season, but mother nature had different ideas. When I saw a major snowstorm in the forecast I was praying it was an April Fool’s joke, but nope, it was certainly the real deal. Lots of snow and wind and cold all day. But everyone made it safely to celebrate with Roxanne and Geoff who took everything in stride and even bravely agreed to head outside for a few portraits to capture the feel of the day. And Harrington Farm is just a super cozy spot complete with fireplace and all – perfect for a “winter” wedding. With a truly heartfelt set of toasts and plenty of hugs (and even a few tears), in the end the day had a really warm feeling all around. A great way to begin things for the year – looking forward to capturing lots more special moments in the coming months and having many more adventures along the way. Enjoy!
