Spent another awesome day down on the coast in Plymouth celebrating with a super fun couple. Jill and Ben got absolutely perfect weather for their big day which led to some particularly sweet light for capturing beach photos – a photographer’s dream. And I got to say, they seemed to really relish in being surrounded by all of their loved ones and also be able to soak in all of the amazing moments of their wedding. It only happens once, so it was cool to see a couple so able to enjoy themselves – just all smiles all day long. Again, a photographer’s dream. Enjoy the pictures.
Well I was really looking forward to capturing this Museum of Science wedding for a long while and it certainly did not disappoint. I mean, I’ve been going there since I was a little kid, so the idea of getting to work there and shoot a wedding seemed so cool to me. Jen and Brian were awesome and we got just a beautiful day. So amazing to be right out overlooking the water for the ceremony and cocktail hour. And then to be right in the exhibit hall for the reception was truly a blast from the past. Super cool lighting really transformed the space and there were sweet little rock’n’roll details all over which were a ton of fun to photograph. The band Bearfight seriously rocked the dance floor – just an awesome event all around to be a part of. And thanks so much to my friend Sejal Patel for second shooting with me all day long. Enjoy.
So sometimes a little rain does fall on a wedding day. Right as the first folks were walking down the aisle the drops started, but everyone (and my cameras) handled it like champs and I like the extra layer the umbrellas added to the ceremony images. And luckily for Natasha and David, as quickly as it came, the rain just went away and we were able to get some beautiful beach portraits and then move inside to rock the dance floor. So much fun to capture the joy and smiles throughout – a really special night. Enjoy.
