So much joy, so many smiles, and even a few tears – you could really feel the love coming from all the friends and family as they celebrated with Micaela and Evan on their wedding day. I’m always excited to witness all of the various emotions present during an event and consider it my biggest challenge to try to capture them for all for the couples I work with. Hopefully it comes across in these images – with a bunch of preceremony shenanigans, a moving first dance, some beautiful toasts, and an awesome and raucous hora, I was given a ton of great subject matter to work with. Enjoy.
Really great to be back at the Charles River Museum to celebrate with Kristyn and James. Just such a fun vibe at this venue and I absolutely love the way they light the reception space – perfect for capturing some beautiful, warm images. It was an awesome day all around – perfect weather, a fun loving couple, a cannoli bar for desert and one of the coolest toasts/songs/dance performances I’ve witnessed at a wedding in long while. Enjoy.
I know I say this every year, but its such a cool aspect of this job that even after 10 years of shooting weddings there are still so many new venues for me to photograph. Always so fun to explore a new space and have the chance to make images different from any that I’ve made before. The Worcester Art Museum provided a great backdrop for creative portraits and all kinds of other fun shots. Really cool architecture and lighting and we even had the sun come out for a few couple portraits as well as a beautiful crescent moon just after sunset. Altogether a great day of shooting. Enjoy
