Well I was really looking forward to capturing this Museum of Science wedding for a long while and it certainly did not disappoint. I mean, I’ve been going there since I was a little kid, so the idea of getting to work there and shoot a wedding seemed so cool to me. Jen and Brian were awesome and we got just a beautiful day. So amazing to be right out overlooking the water for the ceremony and cocktail hour. And then to be right in the exhibit hall for the reception was truly a blast from the past. Super cool lighting really transformed the space and there were sweet little rock’n’roll details all over which were a ton of fun to photograph. The band Bearfight seriously rocked the dance floor – just an awesome event all around to be a part of. And thanks so much to my friend Sejal Patel for second shooting with me all day long. Enjoy.
So sometimes a little rain does fall on a wedding day. Right as the first folks were walking down the aisle the drops started, but everyone (and my cameras) handled it like champs and I like the extra layer the umbrellas added to the ceremony images. And luckily for Natasha and David, as quickly as it came, the rain just went away and we were able to get some beautiful beach portraits and then move inside to rock the dance floor. So much fun to capture the joy and smiles throughout – a really special night. Enjoy.
Got a beautiful, spring day to kick off the 2016 season and had an amazing time celebrating with Carson and Kyle. I’ve always hoped to have the chance to shoot at this venue and it did not disappoint. Just a really cool space – looked like everyone was enjoying checking out everything the museum had to offer. The lighting folks did an amazing job with the room, I couldn’t stop photographing it. Add to that a bunch of great, emotional moments throughout the night especially during a very moving set of toasts and I’d say this was an awesome way to start the year. Enjoy.
